No child left behind ( Kingston School Abbottabad Pakistan) Principal's Speech

Kingston School(est 2000) is an inclusive education system. Its aim is to produce a healthy inclusive society. A society where normal & disable people play their role, for this purpose Kingston is trying to bring a change at grass root level, to educate children & buildup their personalities. Its special section deals mentally retarded, autistic, down syndrome, ADHD,CP, slow learner, hearing impaired, muscular dystrophy, & physically impaired.
After assessment of their problem & capabilities an indivilaized educational plan is constructed. Beside this behavior modification plan is made to improve their behavior. Borderline special children are getting education with normal children in the same classes. Normal section consist of playgroup to 10th class. We are trying to educate them in a secure encouraging & friendly environment. To make education fun rather then a boring process. Therefore we are using new & touching methods & introduced interesting activities, such as fast reading/writing/touching/ competition, short term auditory & visual memory, mind power, sixth sense and etc.They have given the right to speak against injustice & decide punishment ( regardless the mistake is committed by teacher/student).They started a campaign named " JAGO " against inhuman behavior with students in school. For this they are visiting different school examined their system & educating the teachers to stop this violence. Despite of Kingston's limited resources, we give them exposure of games, arrange study tour & celebrate different world days. They participated in different art competitions & always stood first. They took part in different game, competitions & showed their unforgettable performance. From this year we start vocational center especially for special children. Here they are learning burn art, beautician course, embroidery, stitching, painting, cooking, etc. So that after completing their education, they have a skill to support themselves. Due to our limited resources we can't implemented all plans. We need a proper building, furniture, & many other things. For which we are struggling. The main reason for our poor condition is that we are providing our services at very low coast for the people of low social economic class. We have no permanent source of funds for this we are praying & struggling. So kindly motivate others to help us in our noble cause.
