  • It's his character Eddie 'fingers' Coyle's opinion, not Mitchum's.

  • This is a clip from a movie, it's NOT Robert Mitchum expressing his personal opinion on welfare, or about African Americans.

  • Robert Rules!

  • @PepeTheDon666 Now they hide words away in cupboards like guns ,But they have them as weapons to use as a last resort.

  • First of all: MITCHUM was THE MAN.

Secondly: EVERYONE said "niggers" back then and STILL DO today believe it or not! Hollywood especially, but back then America was still very racist in public, now they're racist amongst their own groups in the quiet of their farmhouses and nascar races.

  • Great Movie. But I thought I was going to see an interview and get Mitchums true feelings.

Racial Slur depicts the movie era. Not a Feeling by The Actor.

  • THANKS for posting this. The late great Bob Mitchum was amazing in "The Friends of Eddie Coyle", which is a GREAT crime drama from the 70's. CHEERS! :-)

  • hahahahahahahahaahah oh god there is only one robert mitchum what an easy going actor what a natural.

  • @OJD33

How cares about his opinion! What matters is that he was an amazing actor.
