(IE: 1 Jockey, 1 Smoker, 1 Hunter etc.)
A BacteriaS Plays when 2 or more of the same Special Infected Species spawns.
(IE: 2-or more Boomers, 2-or more Spitters, 2-or more Chargers)

Bacteria plays when a Special Infected spawns,
and Bacteria S plays when he's getting closer.

@IMMAGLASSJOE Bacteria means when it spawns or whein its generally alive. Bacteria S means when its near. This Bacteria S is for the charger (obvs)

@IMMAGLASSJOE S means they HAVE spawned and they are lurking around. Without the S, it means they are in ghost mode and are not currently spawned yet. So this music will play when there is a spawned Charger nearby.

When the piano plays the bacteria, it means that that infected is close by. When the strings play the bacteria, that infected is somewhere far away.

Right.
Each Special Infected has its own bacteria that plays when it spawns or (I think) plays periodically when it's alive.
As for Bacteria and Bacteria S, I don't know the requirements for Bacteria S, as it seems to happen randomly.
