  • EXCELLENT TIPS, THANK YOU SO MUCH

  • @boogiedownbri no, thats about ridiculousness, they just want to you feel small to their new job.

  • @MarathonVeteran really?

  • I asked the salary range during the phone conversation. Then at the end of a face-to-face interview HR manager asked me what's my salary expectation. I said just the same she told me during our conversation. But I noticed that when I mentioned the salary expectation (which was too little for me) she rolled her eyes. What was that? Ok, I am just curious but I didn't get the job anyway. Still thinks even if I was hired I would be upset with my salary.

  • good stuff. I was asked on job interview for a HR Assistant position how much I'd like to be paid. He put me on the spot. I said "what is average for someone with little experience in HR, which is around $15 per hour" He told me "I know what Salary.com says, I want to know what you desire". I told him "$15 per hour". He took into consideration of my drive time to his office (over 2 hours in traffic or 60 miles one way) and he asked me "Is that going to be enough?" Did I get the job? NOPE!

  • Great Advice!!! Thank you!!!

  • Good advice. Thank you. I'll try it out.

  • I actually tried this out today at an interview. For me personally it didn't go very well to say the least lol. However I'm glad I did this because it gave me the chance to test my prospective employer and judge what kind of boss he would be.

Sometimes it's not just about the money but you get to learn about how people behave ;-) And for that I'm glad I failed misrebly at it.
