  • Thank you for your kind words - the lathe is a 1931 south bend 9" junior - at that time safety standard were practically non existant - compared to today's standards - but you are correct that I teach Scott to be both smart and cautious. I am very proud of him and think if he decides to persue a future in machining he would do well. He tells me that he is interested in trades related work so I am hoping he will go for it...
