  • @Xtophernyul And if you think all those, who take Anthropogenic Global Warming (AGW) seriously and are fighting hard for laws to stop it and to make those countries that consume and pollute the most responsible for their actions for the damage they do to poorer countries, are part of some evil conspiracy to get rich, then you are a shitheaded moron.

  • The proper place for debate on the climate is publication in peer-reviewed climate journals and geophysical and oceanic conference. Not fluff mainstream media bullshit.

  • @Xtophernyul He's balanced - the balance is to reflect facts. When 98% and more of the experts agree, it's incredible imbalance to make deniers look like they are anything other than very marginal and strange.

  • Tony Jones is a Moron, he is not a credible and balanced Journilist. NB if you are so stupid as to think that all scientists who disagree with the IPCC (30,000 +) are paid by big OIL, coal and petroleum then you are very niave indeed, As they are the same groups behind Agenda 21, are these same people whom are pushing carbon Tax via the Global Warming swindle......

  • I read Ian Plimer's book "Heaven and Earth: Global Warming the Missing Science" with an open mind. On the surface, it appears to be heavily referenced to external sources but these appear to be not peer-reviewed scientific publication. You will find many negative book reviews online from scientists.

  • Plimer is listed as an "Associate" of the IPA. Same as Bob -"I don't think it is the point whether you are paid by the coal or petroleum industry."-Carter.

IPA is a rightwing corporate funded think tank.

The positions: advocacy for privatisation and deregulation; attacks on the positions of unions and non-government organisations; support of assimilationist indigenous policy and refutation of the science involved with environmental issues such as climate change.

  • Listed as an "Allied Expert" as an "Allied Expert" for a Canadian group called the "Natural Resource Stewardship Project," (NRSP) a LOBBY organization that refuses to disclose its funding sources. The NRSP is led by executive director Tom Harris and Dr. Tim Ball. An October 16, 2006 CanWest Global news article on who funds the NRSP, it states that "a confidentiality agreement doesn't allow him [Tom Harris] to say whether energy companies are funding his group."
