Wow, is all I can say...these are not only great songs, but they are timeless as well. It's no question why Steve Jobs chose Sinatra as one of the icons for the 1997 Think Different campaign. Only wish a companion release of these great performances as a DVD were available too.

I do wish I had realized what a class act this gentleman was when he was in his hey day. In my generation he wasn't considered cool. I didn't begin to appreciate his style and grace till I hit my 40's. He was and still is a class act all the way!

Get the DELUXE edition. It has the Capitol-Reprise compilation AND a live stage performance from 1957. Not ONLY is he in great voice, he's in great Capitol era voice and his backup is Nelson Riddle, pianist Bill Miller AND the studio musicians who actually made those classic recordings. The location: Seattle. Go figure! Oh, and the packaging of the DELUXE set is suave, nutty, koo-koo impeccable. Too cool.
