  • Have you ever met a good lookin blonde at a local dance hall, have her offer you a ride home in her Vette, & while you're sitting in her car talking in your driveway it suddenly occurs to you, "This girl is nuts and has some serious emotional problems"? It was about 1975, it was my driveway and it was Joyce & me in her Vette. I know Kirk. I know a missionary who was in the same mission. I know others over whom she obessessed. I would believe Kirk long before I would trust Joyce in this matter.

  • @thrummer1953 She kidnapped her boyfriend, locked him up, and repeatedly raped him. I'd say that's a little more than getting "a little carried away." And she's obviously crazy and full of her self.

  • @sublimelytwisted this was many years before viagra was created. there's a big difference between a large man raping a small woman and the other way around. let's not be silly here and pretend they're the same thing.

  • she's definitely kooky, but come on. i really don't believe she was capable of having sex with this guy completely against his will.

  • She was once a beautiful girl with a gorgeous body but, unfortunately, no common sense at all. She was a nut. And she went after the only guy she couldn't get - a Mormon missionary. I think it was a challenge for her, though one with comic/tragic consequences.

  • Egomaniac, out of control, selfish and deceitful. That's Joyce, the kidnapping insane rapist-she should of done much more time or at least get some help for goodness sake!

  • UNFORTUNATELY i HAD AN ILLNESS AND SAW THIS ON TV . I THOUGHT THAT SHE WAS NUTS UNTIL SHE LOOKED INTO THE CAMERA AND BEGAN TO BARK! THEN, I WAS SURE. THIS IS ALL FOR HER, LIMELIGHT, THE MONEY AND I'D NEVER HEARD OF HER OR THIS CASE. IT'S TO MY ADVANTAGE BUT IF IT WAS SO BAD AND HER I.Q. IS SO HIGH WHY IS SHE STANDING ON THE STAGE?

  • i saw this case discussed in a national lampoon magazine as a cartoon once @__@ at the end, one of the pre-teen girls presenting the stories said, "You know, some guys are SO shy!"

  • I remember the case well even though I was only 12 at the time. How time flies!

  • 11:52 - check out Errol's face after the maniacal laughter

  • This little performance of McKinney's only reinforces the impression I got from Morris' brilliant movie--that she's a hopeless narcissist who's succeeded in fooling even herself about herself.

  • @dredsdomain I think you are probably right. Fortunately for him, the woman he gave in to also happens to have a screw loose. If she weren't so unreliable, I think people would be laughing at his story.
