  • Great videos!!! Big fan.

Just an FYI, you didn't mention what direction the "hook" on the top of the slide lick goes. It goes towards the rear, facing away from the muzzle. With the slight angle the lock goes in, you will see the top rear is now perpendicular to the slide. Make sense?

  • just edited it thanks!

  • @cutlerylover BTW if you want to see how the lip at the top of the stop truly functions, strip the weapon and then "mock" set the barrel on the frame without the slide in the right spot. Note the three notches on the barrel. The slide stop is on the lowest (or highest when the slide is upside down...lol), then the guide rod fits on the middle one, and the last barrel notch is basically a spacer to separate the guide rod and barrel itself. Jusy FYI in case you never really looked closely at it.

  • @RobbieGTV thanks for the info Robbie

  • I knocked my slide lock out during my first takedown of the gun today and literally thought I had broken my beloved 26!Thank you for so much for the vid I was going to take it to the gun shop because every time I would dry fire the slide would fall forward because I had the lock upside down and the spring riding over the lock instead of under.it takes a fair amount of force to get the spring down and guide the lock in.Thanks again

  • 2 people shot themselves in the foot.

  • @cutlerylover

Where is it edited, I don't see it. The video itself needs to be edited.

  • i'm astill waiting for an answer to 'why/how 'spring strip' fell out AND how to put it back.

of the dvd's out on the gl0Ck 26, that contain disasembly and re-assembly- which is more user friendly?

  • okay. the 'spring bar' won't 'spring' back up. what do i do now? slide lock keeps sliding out. what happened?

  • Definatly a good watch.

  • great video, very helpful
