September 28, 2008: the final day of baseball ever at Shea Stadium. As you can see I spent some time chasing this beauty - after riding it back from Shea, I got off at 33 Street (Rawson Street) in Long Island City heading west towards Times Square. Here is the consist: R33 Mainliners 9010-9011 (silver & blue), 9068-9069 (former in kale green, latter in 80's red), 9016-9017 (1960's red), R17 #6609, R15 #6239, R12 #5760 and R33 World's Far #9306.

  • do they stil do the train of man colors as of 2010

  • The New York Transit Museum could possible run them for a fan trip on the A Division (IRT) like they have for the past 2 years. They also ran in special service for the final year of Shea Stadium in 2008.
