Bryan Colangelo on The Hour with George Stroumboulopoulos

Bryan Colangelo is becoming a bit of a turn-around king in Toronto. For the first time in ages the Raptors are in the hunt for a playoff spot and are playing above .500 basketball. As of 18 March, 2007, the Raptors are leading the Atlantic Division and seeded 4th in the Eastern Conference, marking one of the biggest turnarounds in NBA history in terms of league standing and defensive ranking. The man who can take credit for engineering a lot of that turn-around is Bryan Colangelo.

@BigRapsFan with Colangelo at the helm your never restricted. Not to mention his Suns core (Nash & Amare) may win it all this season. He transformed that franchise into a titan. look at Bryans draft and Trade history compared to Bufords. Buford is not nearly as intellegent an executive as Colangelo. He was just blessed with Duncan and a couple late round draft picks.

@BigRapsFan because just like Orlando and Atlanta they lucked out in the draft and came up on a big prospect. all hes done is keep his core in tact over the years. nothing special just enough to keep him in his job for this many years. Bryan drafts better then any GM in basketball. He resurects franchises in double quick time better then any GM in basketball. and can maneuver around the cap like nobody else can.

@kidkappa04 Tell me how Colangelo is better than RC Buford (GM of the Spurs) The Spurs have won three championships this decade, they bring in the right player at the right price. Bryan brings in big name players for big money and they rarely work out. Not to mention, when he was with Phoenix, the Spurs always beat his team out.
