  • an atlas wont rust away in the netherlands.....everyone likes em to much to let it rust away...........but atlas in north america......i didnt expect that.......but its almost 12 oclock in the evening here so im headed to my bed..........goodbye

  • @patatlasmachinist ive seen one atlas actually it was about a month back down in arlington texas rusting away and tracks are everywhere here and they do everything

  • @hawker800FO here about sixty percent of the excavators are wheeled, they do about everything here, demolition, sewer jobs, they work on construction sites, everywhere, trackhoes are more common on highway projects here.......oh and ive never seen a deere excavator in holland though.......case is also rare here.....same goes for cat, its more or less european and asian machines here, and the weakest machine is hitachi i guess...... by the way have you ever seen an Atlas in north america?

  • @patatlasmachinist also a cat will be around in canada or the states because of being cheaper, since you dont have to pay shipping costs because its an american machine, it is exactly the same reason why cat is more expensive overhere, you have to pay shipping costs while you dont have to for the european machines

also anly a few company use cat overhere in the netherlands, main machines here : Atlas, Liebherr, Volvo, Hitachi, Hyundai, Kato, JCB, Kubota, IHI and takeuchi (kubota sucks)

  • @patatlasmachinist come to north america see how many liebherrs are around its all cat case and deere, and cool story bro. wheeled excavators are rare as shit here you see them cleaning railways and thats about it

  • @patatlasmachinist also the cat not being as strong as liebherr or atlas is easy to explain, the cilinder rods on cats are thinner which means there is less square centimeters to put oil pressure behind, making it less stronger, liebherr and atlas use the same size hydrolic pumps but because of thick cilinder rods they are stronger, and when it comes to a loader take a Volvo for your own sake...........

  • @patatlasmachinist and whenever i see a secondhand liebherr or atlas for sale overhere in the netherlands they always have between 13000 to 20000 hrs on them( liebherr is usally around 17000 sometimes 20000, atlas is usally around 16000) cat ususally does not go further than 12000, the electronics on cat wheeled excavators are not that good either, and when the 3 letters (cat) is on the parts the price of the parts also gets 3 times more

  • @hawker800FO i know a guy who has had Liebherr ,Atlas and now a cat, (liebherr 314 ,Atlas 1404, Cat m313C, the liebherr and the altas where both stronger than the cat, especially the Atlas was strong, and for him the most reliable one, (i run the liebherr nowadays, not any problems though, i have more problems with Atlas) anyway he had to lift up 4t heavy sewer pipes a few weeks back, the cat couldnt even move them, the atlas and liebherr did lift them, so no a cat is not stronger

  • @130lc2 no because cat is stronger, and lasts a shitload longer

  • @130lc2 ok so how come companies in canada and the US only use cat as a primary make, simply because they are more powerful and will out do anyother machine
