Is it weird that I thought violence (grotesque...cannibalism) was sexuality when I was very young. I feared vampires...hated the thought of them sucking my blood...until I started to victimize others to the same... NOT PROUD BUT WILLING TO SHARE INTIMATE FEELINGS.

How come everytime i look at something about vampires u pple have to compare it to twilight. This shit far from being like twilight. These vampires on here actually burn in the sun execpt for akasha. But she's not like a twilight vampire. Those vampires couldn't touch Anne Rice vampires. Stop comparing everything about vampires to twilight. Queen of the damned has nothing to do with twilight. Its way better then twilight.

@Dank951 it dosent matter WHY, the point is they are similar, its not that big a jump, i dont understand why people have a problem with them having diamond skin also thre is glitter in the blood in the lost boys and nowone complained about that.... every vampire story is not the same, writers and producers and directors have been tacking liberties with other vampire stories/movies for years and nowone complained, but all of a sudden twilight comes and everyone gets pissy.....

@starRavenCraft The glows are an effect of preserved skin. Rice ALSO said that as well...that element was in Dracula even.
