Sad to learn Norman has passed. I never had the joy of hearing him live, but his playing on "The Prize" was killer.

I played bass with The Mighty Flyers in 1976. Norman played with us that year as well. I will never ever forget the unique sound of his axe. Earlstown, who would have thought it could produce such a brilliant guy. I have a master of a ...Flyers concert with Norman doing some brill solos. It is on metal cassette, so pretty good sound, and remastered. Maybe one day I will convert it to mp3 and share it
