They are the silent reminders of an age long past, once they were the prides of their nations harkening back to a time of romance and war. Yet even these proud vessels weren't immune to the forces of nature, nore the darkness of the Human soul. Today, their stories have long since passed into legend, and no survivors remain to tell their tales, while the ships themselves have long since decayed away, leaving only ghosts to tell their stories.

  • CSS Virgina?? Johnny Reb was a lady's man afterall !!

  • @DOLRED

You probably know her better as the Merrimac from the Monitor vs. Merrimac Duel, her official name in the Confederate Navy though was Virginia

  • HMS victory never sank. it can still be seen in England today....

  • @BADprid3

The one that sank was the first Victory

  • I heard Henry the 8th had seen the Mary Rose.

Also what made it sink was, there were too many weapons onboard, which made it turn over and sink.

  • @genchandy

Actually what is believed to have happened is that the ship was modified to the point she was unseaworthy and as the Mary Rose was making a sharp turn when a gust of wind came up at a criticle moment in that turn, causing the ship to tilt, however it's believed a communications error among the gun crews led to them failing to close the gun ports, which led to catastrophic flooding causing teh ship to capsize

  • @LePrince1890 The CSS Alabama is American property, so the US should, at least, have salvage rights.

  • Descansen en paz todos los perdidos en la mar. Felicitaciones por el video.

Congratulations for the video from Spain.

  • extremely good vids,

keep up the good work, lest we forget our lost.

  • Could you make a ship video with some music from James Cameron's Titanic from 1997?. Like with ''Death of Titanic'', ''Leaving the port'', ''Take her to sea, mr. Murdoch'', ''Sinking'' or ''Hymn to the sea''? Thanks in advance if you could do.
