What was needed to be proven... In coup-phrone areas, it is better to have a satellite dish than cable... They could censor cable, but they could not censor the signal coming from a satellite operated from another country...

I think it's Thaksin who "offend" the monarchy.
You can see those Pro-thaksin everywhere in Youtube discrediting the king, like the king is behind this and that, the king should resign and Thaksin should be President.

List of those people : ThaiNoKing, Pumipolkillbrother, LittleBirdee, etc.

I remember in 2001 or 2002, Thaksin removed the Minister of Communication from his post after minister provided other company a license to operate in cell phone business. What do you think..? :-)

As far as I understand Thaksin's big dream was after Rama IX to become a president. Thais are good people, they deserve the good honest leaders. I am sure there will be found leaders better than Thaksin if the political envoirement will allow them to be shown up.

I can't see why Thaksin would want to become a President, surely not for the wealth. Yes, Thais are good people, and we do deserve an honest Prime Minister. But the kind of Prime Minister who would propel Thailand into one of Asia's greatest country would be the one who is progressive-minded and is respected by other nation's leader. Now this would take sometimes.
