This is my first ever solo drill and also my first year drilling. I had a mishandle after I drop to the knee, and the rest i thought was ok.

  • "hey Drill Sergeant. Let me show you some tricks I know" - Must be what you said before you went on.

You have the moves I'll give that to you, but you should learn how to use them to where they flow together in a more appealing way. Also I hope there wasn't a floor coverage section on the score sheet.

Other than that you really do need to learn to stop the rifle on command. Keep up the good work.

  • @phillytothemax yea no its more like 9 or ten 10 pounds

  • I like no I LOVE watching good drill video but when I figure out the rifle ways 2 pounds it pisses me off

  • TokyoAro just makes me laugh... I don't think he's even reading what pvpgod is saying...

  • Obviously your school has different procedures, my school has us practive is head covers and low quarters (shoes for the ignorent among us) to make sure that we understand the rythm of marching and so that we learn ware our headcover sits so we dont knock it off.

Sorry if my school was a lil more logical that yours. And plz sir or ma'am, slap the shit out of me, im 6'2 and have been through basicas for the army, im 19 years old. Now please, drop it.

This is the last time im posting. Ty...

  • not what your simply saying there NOT PRACTICING! And your not aloud to practice spinning solos in covers of any sort! god if i knew you ide slap the shit out of you. Just because i make a better point than you im considered a kid? Okay wow, Mature

  • I was simply saying that you should practice with a garrison or whatever headcover you may be using to get used to the feel of it so it doesn't get knocked off. Apparently im too stupid for you to understand that though.

Sorry but you honestly sound about 11 years old. I rest my case.

    Have a good day.... kid

  • Lol your dumb :P Thats not a practice thats a competition solo stupid! You dont wear your Garrison cover because of the wind and you get points for it falling off. We dont have Barrera only combo covers and garrison covers combo covers are hazardous. But omg shut up stupid. I rest my case.

  • Sir or ma'am, im sure that different areas have different regulations. Please be polite next time when comenting :) If your in JROTC or ROTC the class has taught you nothing obviously.

    Have a nice day

  • lol, just flat out insult me, thats cool. Your solo should be practiced with headgear so that you no your extents and limitatuions. And honestly, there is no way a garrison cap or barrea is gona affect your vision. Try one on.... they dont obscure any of it.

As for knocking it off, this is a hazard, but it is a hazard with any exhibition sequence, why would they make an exception for just solos?
