its true tat there are a lot who are against lifting the sanctions off. but, it is clear tat sanctions will not give any positive results as long as china/inda/other asian neighbors are continuing trade. so,economic relations with the west wud not hurt the people at all.

I'm glad Senator Jim Webb is pushing the Administration towards more engagement with the Regime with less sanction. But there is also controversial issue that most of the exile community has been encouraging sanction against Burma throughout the decades. I wonder how they will compromise about new policy and gain public understanding about it.
