Ever seen the Search bar in the Start menu of Windows Vista/7?
Or, I dunno, double-click on the icon you already see?

And all the things this guy calls junk he works with... it's his own fault if he doesn't organize his files from the very beginning, in that case he wouldn't NEED this.

it doesnt slow down the computer when its inactive, i think. i dont have any slowdown problems when using it

you dont have to use it as a 3D cube. you can activate "infinite desktop" mode and you have all features on a 2D desktop, PLUS the ability to drag items out of the regular desktop area by panning into the desired direction
