All very well and good but you sold out to Google and stopped letting people use it. Hardly a project I'm going to have any respect for when you care more about profits than the actual creativity or ingenuity of a concept. Thought only big companies like Microsoft had this mentality that HINDERS progress.

GPL blows though. It's just too restrictive for real world use. It's really designed for anal retentives who feel that they just MUST control all eventualities with their software.

A far better option is just open source a project. Let people do what they want with it.

And if you don't want people to do what they want with it, don't release it at all. But please, don't use GPL, and don't support the control freaks behind such systems.
