Am I the only frustrated beginner? I can't do a thing past the slip knot haha... I have no idea what she's doing when she's starting the chain/ how the hell to do the chain stitch. What is wrong with me. I just want to throw things and swear a lot haha....

Ok, I realized my stupid mistake (was skipping a step). Thank you so much for this guide though, I haven't done any crocheting in years, and this made it so easy to get back into it. Also, your method for slipknotting is the best I've ever seen, thanks!

Finally get the hang of it, get to the 2nd row, realize you have 2 less chains than you started with. Every. Single. Time.
