@TheManyFacesofJester because it's a song about loss. and i don't mean just death. i mean, like you said, losing a significant other through a breakup or something. and all i said was that it *MIGHT* not be an appropriate wedding song. *MIGHT*

@moldypanda Plenty of songs have a real backround, with a different meaning.
But why does that change the fact that she can play it at their wedding.
The song can be about anything you choose, that is the beauty of music. Everyone interprites it differently.

@TheManyFacesofJester but he really did have a girlfriend who died. that's why he wrote this song. look it up.

@moldypanda It could just be about a Girl Who left him, who he can no longer see. Nothing in the song states that she is dead.

Am I the only one who listens to The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Big Brother and the Holding Company, Bing Crosby, The Doobie Brothers, .38 Special, and The Andrews Sisters who is below 20 years old and thinks Owl City is just as good as all of them combined and Adam Young reminds myself of John Lennon.

Of Mice & Men, A Day To Remember, Chelsea Grin, and Owl City :) but i also like Lights and such...

I'm a proud Owl City citizen. Because in Owl City, you have Rainbow Veins. Dreams Don't Turn to Dust, and you rise your head up to Alligator Sky to watch the Meteor Shower. You ride in a Hot Air Balloon, and greet the Sky Diver of Umbrella Beach. During the night, Fireflies flit about under the Vanilla Twilight sky. You should visit sometime. If you're lucky, you'll see the Strawberry Avalanche, far away from The Real World. Copy and paste this if you love Owl City
