Jessie Hoffman As Dorothy - Wizard Of Oz Finale (2009)

A video from my performance of Wizard of Oz.. Me as Dorothy, my dog Toto as Toto, Andy Hermann as the Scarecrow, James Portalatin as the Tinman, Don Ackerman as the Cowardly Lion, Bonnie Branston as Glinda, and Jack Frank Signman as the Wizard of Oz. :]

Yes, I know this isnt how it ends in the movie, we made it our own and more unique. Ignore the Munchkin children screaming the song and enjoy the other people singing :]

Of course we film when we had a smaller audience but, eh they were still a great audience and theres even a shot where you can see my parents in the audience, and I got to meet a little 3 year old girl dressed like Dorothy. She was so cute. :D

@wizardblonde91 This was May 2009. :] Thank you very much! <3 Haha, I love them too. xD No, actually they were sequins but they kept falling off during the rehearsal process so the woman who made my dress individually glued rhinestones on, 750 per shoe. My ruby slippers are sitting on my shelf as we speak. xD

@therealjessiehoffman Yeah I've made a few pairs of sewuin slippers for Oz productions in my day. They can be tricky. But stones work wonders too! But i feel like they'd fall off more easily. either way. this is awesome!

do you have the munckinland scene where you GET the slippers? Im dying to see that!

@wizardblonde91 Well, all my sequins fell off, but I only lost a few stones, maybe I was more careful once the stones were on since I knew what happened with the sequins. xD I do, but I didn't upload it because there were so many little kids and some of them screamed the song, plus Toto was not happy during that song (she's my dog in RL and her name is actually Toto) because of the loud sounds so she kinda barked a lot in that scene. xD But I have a lot of other scenes from the show up. :D
