Kris Dim has achieved a lot since arriving in the U.S. at age 4. After earning an IFBB Pro Card at the 2003 NPC USAs, he placed 12th in his first IFBB Olympia competition the very next year. Then, in a single moment, he nearly lost everything. In 2007, Kris collapsed from a split aortic valve. The grim prognosis during emergency open heart surgery was a 10% chance of survival. Kris beat the odds not just by walking out of the hospital, but by heading back into the gym for more heavy lifting and returning to the Olympia stage in 2009. What others thought impossible, Kris proved more than possible, just as ON pushed the possibilities of protein technology with the development of Platinum Hydrowhey. Our purest, fastest-acting whey protein demonstrates that continuous improvement is ONs True Strength. You can tell from his against-all-odds determination that its Kris too. Watch him in action and hear details of his amazing story

  • @wdmv Well, AAS is said to cause heart attacks. It raises the blood pressure and the cholesterol. And it´s pretty obvious that Kris has used steroids under a long time. However, some studies also say that there´s no association link between AAS and AAD (Acute Aortic Dissection). Instead, heavy lifting and other type of strain can cause AAD according to some studies. Even a hard sneeze can cause that if you have high blood pressure.

  • how about too many steroids?

  • Hey Kris Dim, I was born with a defect in my aortic valve. Not sure if it was a birth defect for you or not, but I feel for you brother. Stay strong, stay motivated, stay aesthetic.
