  • What did he say? Can you tell us the history that is behind the video?

  • He said he came from a Chinese city of Heshan and knew some Cantonese phrases. I bumped into this gentleman in Trinidad, Cuba.

  • @Jennyyx3Lovee yea he was speaking hoisan alot of people who dont know it might just think its canto but its not but it is related tho some words are very similar but there are words that are just plain different

  • It is amazing to be able to see this video. My great grandfather was chinese, and do to the prejudice of the cuban society back them, my grandfather changed his last name from Pei to Morales! It still visible in my kids the oriental fixture in them!...Thank You

  • he was saying Hoisan/Toisan, not hok san(student). a lot of toisanese ppl went to cuba working in sugar plantations

  • @Lemit youre probably thinking of another dialect. Hakka probbably?

  • He's hella high from the Cuban blunt and starts speaking Cantonese.

  • NO.

El no habla Cantonés, simplemente sabe algunas palabras. Muy bien de todos modos.

  • @saikitchng i guess he meant鹤山..

  • at 0:50 I think he says "I have been to Vancouver". COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000L.

  • @Lemit I think you're talking about Toisanese, which is really similar to Cantonese.
