people can keep complaining that kevin lowe made a bad decision - well we're gettin some good early chemistry between him and hemmer (who needs someone big to clear the ice for him); and since kevin lowe couldnt get anyone for their price; he got someone for his. If kevin lowe had offered only half - burke would have matched and we wouldnt have a LW.

hockey hasnt been the same since the strike, most of the great players are gone and the sport has gone down hill(true excitment). i went to a couple of blues games in st. louis, but wasnt really that great anymore, i was so into hockey before the strike and even played ice hockey when i was a teenager.
