Gold City Quartet singing "After a While" at Temple Baptist Church in Madison Heights, Virginia on Friday, February 25, 2011.
Gold City performed for the Winter Angel Benefit Concert sponsored by Central Virginia Angel Hearts. The proceeds of the event featuring Gold City, Garden of Grace and Doug Smith went for the medical expenses for Erin Hope Coleman, a four year old girl who has complications due to premature birth.
Gold City group members are Brent Mitchell (tenor), Craig West (lead), Daniel Riley (baritone) and Tim Riley (bass), Bryan Elliott (piano).
Sound quality is effected by the fact that we were sitting just a few feet from the speakers; sorry about the distortion at times.
GRAND BASS

If you ever get the chance to talk with Chris West, His talking voice is just as low as Tim's speaking voice. Very awesome

He kinda sounds like a boomier version of Eric Bennett (and that's a good thing, not a bad thing). This cracks me up at 1:40 (especially with Daniel doing that weird hand motion, haha)!
I think Tim has a good few years of touring left in him, and if this guy is his replacement I wouldn't be disappointed at all. And in other news, I think Aaron McCune is up to some other gospel project going on now. There are a few vids here on youtube of it.
