World's Most Dangerous Approaches/Airports: Toncontin Intl. @ Tegucigalpa, Honduras (MHTG/TGU)

One of the world's most dangerous approaches (and definitely scariest) to landing is the final approach into Toncontin Intl. (MHTG) located in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. The airport's runway is a mere 6,112 feet in length where the airport stands at 3,294 ft. MSL.

Believe it or not, this airport is actually an International airport with a runway as small as it is and (according to FSX) the airport is not equipped w/ an ILS which forces the pilot to make a visual approach to land.

There have been numerous accidents involving airliners into this airport over the past few years striking fear into those who dare to venture it's way!
