  • does the rancillio silvia have a pressurized basket? far as I know it is not pressurized. or you sell the pressurized basket? btw i just subscribed your channel :D

  • @anjengneh It is non-pressurized, a traditional extraction -- so you need to have a good grinder and get a little bit more skilled to use it, but it will make better coffee in the end :) - Kat

  • Gail and Kat, thanx for your wonderful videos! I Know it's beens 18 months since you made this, but There's just a piece of info I didn't find before buying my Gaggia Baby Class: the body is not made of plastic, as come people believe - it's a metal alloy that resembles some sort of aluminum casting, but it is really heavy. And it is painted solid gray, so it resembles plastic. The stainless steel wrapping is really nice, tho...

Don't dismiss the Baby Class body material: its really well built.

  • @CabralCEFLE The casing is great, definitely! We don't carry Gaggia anymore, so not sure if they've made any improvements on other aspects over the last year or so. Glad you are enjoying yours! :) - Kat

  • People buy the Alexia for temperature stability (hence the PID). You can't get that with an HX like the Anita.
