Thanks for providing such great tips! Some people are very ignorant and self centered to make cruel remarks about what you're doing. There are others that will appreciate the tips. I'm sure you're system will look great.
Whether it's sunblock, make-up, nails, wigs, or any other artificial additive, it's a personal choice to feel good and enhance yourself. Hair pieces aren't the only thing people do to present themselves well, so negative feedback is a waste of time and is very rude.

@manny214 You're so right, my mum also tried the method found at the site HairLoss101. net (remove the space, Youtube is getting annoying with this filter!) and I'm amazed by the results we are seeing .
We were a little skeptical at first, but in the end we're thankful it's working. Thank god :)))

One thing that concerns me.
You have to shave the top of your head to make the template. And then you have to wait a few weeks for the hair piece to arrive. In the mean time, you're walking around with a strange partially shaved head.

I guess it's because I skipped the thin tape part and I am female so have a small head. Couple of wide tape pieces did it. I'm preparing for my first custom lace topper, but am wearing a ready to wear lace front wig now. Adhering the ear-to-ear lace front takes more of my time!!

@hairdirect well, they do now,lol
@sirtinycreep, it's not hard at all to make a full cap template this way. I did it in 20 minutes or so. I used the wide tape rightaway, and compared the measurements of the cap with the measurements of my head that I already had. If I ever have to do it again, I will use the trick to tie the wrap under my chin, and to mark the sections directly on the cling wrap. I marked the finished template and the permanent marker didn't hold as well on the plastic tape. Thanks, HD.

@Linkiedinkie Glad you had success with your full cap template! Wow, 20 minutes? That's impressive! Do you wear hair now?

This guys seems to know it all. Let him try making a full head template for a full cap. Trying to wrap 'wrap' round your head and taping it is VERY TRICKY. I bet this guy couldn't do it.

@sirtinycreep Sounds like you have experience with a full cap mold? Have it on tape?

Some people dont have the option to have someone do it for them i.e. if no one knows that you are wearing a hair replacement and you want to keep it that way.
