Providence, RI Sept. 21, 2007 Literally millions of Menhaden (Pogy) fish are swimming in down town Providence in the river by the Citizen Bank Center. Menhaden fish inhabit the waters of the North Atlantic from Nova Scotia to Florida. They are used for bait and food for larger fish. Recently, they are being used as a source of Omega 3 oil due to high oil content.

I know that they cleaned up the river, and that they usually end up on the shore in August dead, do they know why they have come up the river now? Interesting, for sure!!

Looks like you're really into nutrition. Omega 3 is an important supplement. You've provided some good information. It's great to see some one else really contribute. Well Done
