Tejano Music is not dead. We had a huge Tejano Festival here in Austin and we had over 5000 people show up for the two day event. This was held during South By Southwest. We didnt expect so many people to show up but the cheers could be heard all the way to the capitol. So it was worth it. More and more Tejano Bands are showing up so please support them.

Wow I've never heard Selena's english, she really sounds like she's from Texas. Thanks for uploading this video! Also did Selena finish high school herself? I thought she was already in her music career by that time.

@jsanz214 I was wondering why Tejano music isn't as popular anymore and you hit it right on the eye. It's so true and I never thought of that. Tejano did start dying out right after Selena's death, so sad!
