Cookie Monster Death Metal Vocal Duet

Ever wonder where the inspiration for all those death metal vocal sounds from the speed metal bands came from? Yep, I think we all owe a big tip o' the hat to to non other than the Grandfather of Growl... the original "C" man. All those early years of kids in the '70's with their noses pressed to the cathode ray tube watching Cookie Monster on PBS stirred something in those little neurons. Oh, and we mustn't leave out a wagon load of gratitude to those good ol' fast barn burnin' blue grass square dances that fueled the fires of another music genre (hint - also starts with "C") that most speed metal-philes would ban from their listening libraries.

I'm glad to see there are many more who've always appreciated the similarities by posting their Cookie Monster metal interpretations. Enjoy the cacophony!
