This is a short piece shot in Sikkim this August 2008. It is an attempt to highlight the Tendong festival that is celebrated by the Lepchas. Besides the festivities, it is the legendary folk tale that reveals the significance of the Tendong hill and the flood story popular among tribal societies. The standard quality of this youtube broadcasting is not so good, so it is recommended to "watch in high quality" that is found under the view counter. Hoping that everybody enjoys the video... aachuley!!!

Great video! I was fascinated to know of the Tendong Lho Rum Faat/ It-Bu-Rum -- though a bit pissed off that you're all speaking Nepalese ( do you not lot speak "Rong"
among yourselves?). It-Bu-Rum probably won't hear/ understand you since you speak a language alien to his ears!!
Have subscribed so please continue to upload these informative videos.
