Fixing a Slice with the Driver

@stevenparrgolf is the ball going straight? Well then it's probably not a slice. Even if it was, I'd take a straight "slice" any day.

Excellent tip but there's an instance where a crucial weight shift must occur, what's the best way to find the balance between staying behind the ball and getting the weight off the left side (for a right handed player)? Thanks very much!

ya know, ive seen a lot of beginners at the range and ALL of them tend to actually lean back; presumably trying to help the ball up.

This worked for me, had a round today and hit some great straight drives, pulled a couple but, NO SLICES !

I hit all of my clubs dead straight except my driver which i used to have a very bad slice with, your points helped me straighten my driver so now i hit all my clubs straight, my set up was completely wrong for my driver it had nothing to do with my swing path as i only had the slice with driver, thanks for your help. stevenparrgolf1 missed the point of the lesson, glad stevenparrgolf1 is not coaching me as he would not have even been able to figure out the cause of my slice, mr genius haha

this worked perfect for me today
I hit my irons relatively straight, but I always without a doubt, completely slice my driver to the right, way way right. I took upon this advice, and it has almost diminished my slice completely. It is amazing, and it does make perfect sense. If you also look up shawn clement on youtube, you will notice he also uses the same posture. Shawn is great as well, he just never focused on the posture of hitting a driver like this video did. Fantastic advice, my driver slice is cured, thank you so much
