Mitzvah Mania 2009 Highlights

Volunteers turned out to take part in Mitzvah Manias largest environmental project. Fairmount Parks Office of Environmental professionals guided teams of volunteers to plant native bulbs and perennials, create beautiful walking trails and restore existing wetlands to their natural state. Meantime, in South Philadelphia, volunteers painted, fixed and cleaned the Stiffel center and also packed food bags for seniors. Plus, many handy volunteers participated in home winterization projects at homes around the neighborhood. Join us next year for Mitzvah Mania, a day of doing good deeds in our community.
