I understand the camp liberators' 'desire' for these evil people to see what occurred but it would have done nothing to 'prick the conscience' of any one of them,if that was the aim.Even in the face of irrefutable proof they denied and denied and denied again any involvement in the atrocities.Cowards to the end.But let's not forget it wasn't just Jews who suffered such inhuman abuse.
And the use of Ave Maria,whilst puzzling,it was the most haunting rendition I've heard.
