Mars,
I like the upgrade on the FEL cylinders that you did!
Very nice videos and you explained it very well!.. I have a JD 4300 with a 430 FEL, and I have thought about upgrading mine.. I have A LOT of question that I would like to ask you!
Thanks for posting the videos!... Very nice job!

way did you change out you hydraulic cylinders on the replacement cylinders the comment was made to the size dia of rod & dia of barrel hydraulics work on pressure X by area with the larger rod you get less area =less working area -less force.in sted of cutting up the new cylinders rotate cylinder so the hydraulic port where at the six clock position and they would have fitted running hoses to the bottom

@1snappytom @1snappytom Hi: I am not sure that I understand your question but here is a try. Yes the rod is larger and takes up more area but it is still 18% more than OEM cylinders. 18% more on the pull and 30% more on the push. I wanted the thicker rods so that the cylinder would be stronger, less likely to break again. I thought about rotating the cylinders to the 6 o'clock position but then the hoses would be below the cylinders and would be more likely to snag on brush.
