Transportugal is getting closer and the organization team is working full speed to get the new stages complete. Unfortunately the weather is not helping, making the job quite hard.
This weekend we went finding the best routes to Evora and took our new toy - a VIO helmet camera (as can be seen there's still a lot to learn how to use it to get better footage).
We had three teams in the terrain, which did about 200km all together. The video tells the story - lots of water, mud, waterways crossing, closed gates and even a stuck sheep rescue!
The closed gates in what are public paths are the biggest nuisance, as there can be no such obstacles in the race - so alternative ways have to be found out making the process complex
The camera batteries went out well before our legs - the recon day only ended after night had fallen for some time.
