Real-Time wireless control of professional cameras for the movie industry
www.plcelectronicsolutions.com

The Wireless iRis allows Directors of Photography, camera assistants, or Digital Technicians
the freedom of being able to move around the film set without being required to
carry additional hardware to wirelessly control the exposure or zoom of each camera.

The Wireless iRis app was written specifically to be used
with the new fStop Wireless single channel Lens Motor Driver from www.plcelectronicsolutions.com.

Use of the touch screen is quite responsive and has no noticeable latency.

The lens markings line up precisely with the ruler and
can be calibrated for any of the 16 user programmable lenses.

By the use of hand gestures the ruler can also be expanded for increased resolution thereby setting the limits of the lens motor travel.

Our Lock feature prevents unintended changes and our connection status indicator assures us that the receiver is indeed connected and moving the motor to the desired
position.

When multiple cameras have fStop boxes connected to them you can easily switch control between them as well as view the current stop of each camera simultaneously
simply by rotating the screen to a landscape view, all from a single hand held device.

  • This works with my ipad2 btw, also you can configure to use with the focus ring.

  • @eggbertsmith if you're going to drop cash for something like this... get an ipod touch dedicated for it... if you wanted to rent it out you'd need to get them something...

  • @bluetorch13

    DAMN RIGHT!

Limited to iPhones? That shows a lack of forward thinking towards the sort of extreme-compatibility which equals....umm.....greater sales?

    It aint rocket science, y'all.

You limit your product. You limit your sales.

  • Start using Android. Dual cores are much better than iPhones. I love your device, but limiting to iPhone is not good.

  • It's tiny, it's inexpensive, but it won't ever beat a solid and reliable Bartech or Preston. I've had my iPhone crash on me, but my Bartech went swimming once and still worked to finish the day.

  • COOLNESS

  • best setup I have seen, just wish there was a low cost affordable unit . I'm sure this unit cost more that what my car is worth much less all my camera gear.. but, it's still the best idea I have seen for a remote, and if I had a massive budget I might consider it, but in the end a standard follow focus will not have the battery die during a shoot. but still like the app and data

  • it looks the business but i wouldn't like to be on a big budget shoot ...with that app...preston follow focus is nearly 20 000 quid BUT WORKS ...WONT LET YOU DOWN ...NOT A I PHONE ...that could f**k up and slow down your shoot ...just think duncan foster glaring down on you ...you have been warned !!!

  • @geoffdoor i think so because he said you can add focus or zoom marks on the iphone app instead of the aperature stops

  • Hello,

I´m interessted in your fStop Wireless Receiver / iphone.

Where can I buy some of this set?

On your website I found only the fStop Wireless Receiver. But where I get also the servo motor and all the complete staff? And how much does the complete set cost. The iphone app I found in itunes.
