On July 8, 2010, the United States Department of Agriculture held a meeting in Washington, DC inviting members of the public to comment on the proposed 2010 Dietary Guidelines proposed by the 13-member Advisory Committee. A total of 50 people presented testimony, including several members of the low-carb community. Here are the reactions from those who were in attendance for the testimony, including Christine Moore, Sally Fallon, Pam Schoenfeld, Dr. Jeff Volek, Bonnie Matlow, Adele Hite, and Dr. Richard Feinman. I wanted to represent the hundreds of thousands of people who read my blog, watch my YouTube videos, listen to my podcast show because we deserve a voice in Washington speaking up on behalf of the changes that have happened to our weight and health thanks to livin' la vida low-carb and doing the exact OPPOSITE of what they've been pushing for decades. It was a proud moment in my life. :)
