Tufts Policy Petition - Save Spring Fling 2010

I am writing to you in regards to policy decisions surrounding Spring Fling 2010. Ideas are floating around to either cancel the event altogether or to, at the very least, ban alcohol from it completely. I believe that these ideas would form an incomplete policy that only considers one particular part of the problem. I need your help to represent this school in delivering our opinion as students to the administration who will ultimately enact these decisions into policy. Take 1 more minute to fill out the petition on the bottom of the site, so we can actively influence what happens to our events at Tufts. Please petition before 4:00 pm on Wednesday, Oct. 21st.

Way to go Kevin, we appreciate your efforts. Keep fighting the good fight and let us know what we can do to help you in any way possible! Banning alcohol will likely do more harm than good, and we as a senior class should not have to pay the price for the raucous behavior of last year's senior class. The recent, privatized version of Senior Pub night penalizes individual students involved in behavior violations, and that seems a much more logical way to approach the problem. Thanks! --DC Wolf
