The November 9th occupation of the UTR executive offices, in response to the questionable (and eventually determined inaccurate) count of votes to ratify the tentative agreement.

I CAN'T UNDERSTAND IT. There is absolutely NO TRANSPARENCY. WHY ARE THEY SO DEFENSIVE. THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE WORKING FOR THE TEACHERS AND NOT AGAINST THEM. They sound like the administration. They are absolutely gatekeepers.
This is leadership by police. The members pay her salary but she works for the interests of the employer.
She's the face of class collaboration. Recall her! Make the Bylaw change starting monday. And establish regular membership meetings. Recall her pet E board. Elect a strike committee. Then elect a new rank and file leadership and strike!

UTR Leadership has created a train wreck. No back bone whatsoever. They would rather have members suffer, than show any strength.
What a disgrace.
