This is best Kihon gumite i ever seen.

Nr*6 very good performed, he had to correct movement of opponent, very diffucult, if you can do makes you shihan. Sorry Garywado, tori is ending left and ending up right, this is traditional wado ryu karate by Othsuka sensei. Many non-Japanese karateka think they know real Wado, but infact they know very less, only to perform exercise but not know what meaning about.

I have just had a look at the youtube vid where Arakawa Takamasa is Ukem, and I think I can see your point. As part of the nage, tori moves in to left.

I shall be watching Hakoishi very carefully next month!!

My turn to comment on one of your posts. If my eyes aren't deceiving me I am sure that in #10 Tori finishes with left foot forward. I have alwyays practiced this so you end up in right at the end. Still nery nice though.

Looks nice :). There is a lot of power in it...nice demo though I am not used to making a full step backwards in some of these kumite.
