WARNING; IF YOU HAVE A WEAK STOMACH FOR SURGERY, PLEASE DO NOT WATCH THIS VIDEO. This is a technical video demonstrating how endoscopic thyroidectomy is performed. This procedure is known as a new technique that avoids the usual scar in the neck that you see with the routine thyroidectomy approach. Parathyroid surgery may also be performed using this technique. • Hi,

I am a 45 y/o female veteran of the USN recently diagnosed with HPTH, sestamibi neg; and have 2 bilateral thyroid nodules, just under a cm ; upper poles; one cystic, and the other is solid hypeochoic, with irregular borders... I am concerned about cancer but no FNA has been done.

Basically the VA in Birmingham AL wants to do exploratory surgery on my neck. I have researched this for months while I wait. I want the MIRP, and yours looks much safer too! Could you help me?

    Lori Muir
