@set4life222 PROPS!!! what happend with you in "transition". This was the jam.
-
@set4life222 I remember that show...with Norman Fell! very brief.
-
The song was chosen as the theme song forN.B.C's comedy series "Teachers Only".Walter is lip singing on this video.I went on to write the Billboard Top Ten hit "Call The Law" by The Reddings,the sons of Otis Redding,wrote "Tonight" for the group Cameo,wrote "We Gone Ball Tonight" for J. Blackfoot,and still perform around the world.

This song was sang by me,Jeffrey Singleton in 1982 in Atlanta,GA at Web 4 Studios.

Wow, if you listen close, this is not Clyde's voice. Well, whether it was Jeffrey or Kevin, they should have given credit to who sung the song. Before J.D. came, I know that Harold Hudson sang lead on Painted Picture and Turn Off The Lights on Commodores 13. Actually, Hudson was supposed to sing the lead on Lady, You Bring Me Up (who co-wrote the song with William King) because Richie was not present in the studio but Motown demanded that the song would sell with Richies voice on top of it.

My name is Jeffrey Singleton.I am the lead singer on "Reach High".It was recorded in Atlanta in 1982.

@rosajeans
no, Walter isn't really the lead on this song. The song is from the 1982 album "All The Greatest Hits"....during this time they had 3 different people recording for them, 1 guy on Painted Picture and 2 others, one sings this song, t don't know what happened to the third before they settled on JD
