In this video, I show what I think is the best way to do a clean installation of Lion on your hackintosh!

Here's what you'll need:

- Lion installer from the App Store.

- xMove & Multibeast: http://www.tonymacx86.com/viewforum.php?f=125

- The Chameleon bootloader: http://www.sendspace.com/file/bf6oyx

- A little time

  • So at the moment i will be creating a Hackintosh, so to get lion, will i need to get snow leopard first and then from there i will have to download lion from the app store? or is there any other way?

  • @toqi786 Yup, that's pretty much the only way you can go. Unless you know someone with a Mac that can access the app store. From there, you can follow my videos on that Mac and simply do fresh installations of Lion once your USB is set up.

  • Awesome videos man !! Some of the best on youtubee... Could you do a video on what apps you have and stuff like what you have in your top bar??

  • @jaysenstudios Check out my "What's in my menubar" video ;) Thanks for watching!

  • What 'key' do you hit?

  • @adgthandthelionking5 You can hit any key during boot up to get the bootloader navigation menu.

You should call your HDD, Hackintosh HD!

  • @cpukid00 can u please tell me which boot loader you use cuz it looks cool.

  • wait a second.... I want to install Lion on my PC Laptop, I can't do this without pre-installed Mac OSX earlier version :\ ?

  • @toqi786 What you can do is download Lion from the app store and then use a special Mac OS X Lion "Hackintosh" installer in order to get it to install correctly. The only other way is if you just burned the dmg image to an iso image disc. And then tried to use iBoot or another Chameleon bootloader to see if it would work. Or you could just wait until they find a way to do it without needing Snow Leopard first!

  • @cpukid00 oh, well thats alright then. I feel so dumb now...
