Barrel dragon. S your saying full metal alchemist (which ended and actually had a a plot. Was worse than bleach, which is STILL going and has no plot and is basically going nowhere? Your taste in anime is terrible man. Honestly, FMA brotherhood runs circles, CIRCLES. Around bleach.

and that's why I watch Bleach. because whenever Ichigo gets whiny (remember season 6?), Rukia's always there to give him a both metaphorical and literal slap in the face to remind him what a twat he's being. It's a shonen anime that genuinely has a great plot, and isn't just a bunch of glued-together fight scenes with an overarching 'story' that just goes on and on about how shit the main character's life is. (I also consider Fullmetal Alchemist to be of this calibre)

@Dervanon True. But I find it funny that I want to be lectured about abstract symbolism but I want to know what happens next in the story. Yet I still watch evangelion for my own personal reasons.I really understand why most people would hate evangelion, but I don't really care that much about their criticism about it.Plus I'm a fan of a lot of other anime (more in line of the mecha genre) and the Gundam series will always be my no.1 favourite.

@hypesboi well see it this way, its all about what people expect from a good anime. if they want to be lectured about some abstract symbolism and watch a whiny emo kid then NGE is perfect. but if ppl seek to be entertained, feel with the characters and want to know what happens next in the story, then NGE is to be absolutely ignored.
