Whats funny about this clip is that in reality, Penn (Spicoli) and friends were actually a little buzzed (drinking) during this scene.... He didn't have any more scenes to shoot that day and the director told them it was ok.

I was like Spicoli in the early 70's. And had students & my own kkids like that during the mid-80's. They all kicked everybodyelses ass in school, I mean grade wise. and were'nt uptight little shits. I class' full of stoners and they did 70-95% better in ALL of their classes.
