  • You people are fucking idiots who have obviously never written a CNC program. It's obvious why the Z-axis and trunnion table home between each fin.

The guy did the CAD/CAM for ONE FIN. He posted it as a subroutine, and his main program calls with different C-axis offsets each time.

What are you people, a bunch of button pushing monkeys? Sure, he could've cleaned up the program a bit to feign efficiency, but it's still just a demo. JUST A DEMO.

  • why flip back to horizontal between each blade??? That's a LOT of time wasted on excessive movements that shouldn't be needed if it can index the turntable properly.

  • Does the tool screeching not bother people? Running too fast I think, but I don't know, i'm just an apprentice :)

  • it's funny how people try to be smarter then eachother, hey, it's a job, they got it, made the part and got paid, the coolant on the bay walls may be so us the veiwers could get a better view. it's just the internet guys, not a pissing contest of overwieght nerds standing infront of 200,000 $ machines.

  • i love when people who have know idea what theyre talking problably couldnt progam a drill cycle on a lathe and then all of sudden theyre experts and the have gall to crituque someone elses work like they could do a better job

that one subprogram problably had 150,000 lines of code or more to do just one fin

the world is full of a**holes and overflowing with morons

  • clearance to change tools. more than likely

  • alunimunm metal is easily to cutting / drilling than harden iron / stainless steel / steel

  • Yeah no joke! and it stop the spindle every time! and i love how 90% of the coolant is washing the side wall of the bay!

  • Nice machine but service sucks and you will need service.
